ESM Family Days Rock & Gem Show
The Earth Science Museum (ESM) held the first annual Family Days
Rock & Gem Show on Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21
from 9 am-5 pm at the Phoenix Swap$mart, 5115 North 27th
Avenue. The show featured dealers selling minerals,
fossils, rocks, gems, beads, jewelry, and tools. It also
included several low cost children's activities.
This event was aimed at bringing together the various mineral and lapidary clubs that met at the old mining and mineral museum for a joint fundraising/awareness building activity. A note of thanks goes to all the museum and club volunteers who helped organize the show.
